Aluminium foil for reflective insulation |
 |
The reflective insulation serves for heat loss decrease due to heat exchange reduction between mediums. It is usually consists of two parts: substrate and reflective layer. The materials with good heat insulating characteristics are used as a substrate. Mainly they are expanded polyethylene, foamed rubber and glass cloth. The reflective layer is made from the aluminium foil or polypropylene metallized film.

F0,007 / Craft-paper 50 g/m2
Aluminum foil thanks to its perfect (up to 97%) reflecting power makes a barrier to infrared emission. For another thing aluminum foil is one of the best steam-barriers as well.
Craft-paper significantly increases material mechanical strength, allowing fixing it safety and quickly to various constructions by means of staples, nails, self-tapping screws etc. The paper-layer helps allocating material to hard-to-get-at places and easy cutting without lost of mechanical strength of the material.
It’s foreseen to be used within wide temperature range from -60°С to +120°С where high mechanical loading is not required (Russian baths and sauna). We suggest applying it in combination with different types of heat insulation materials like foam plastics, glass and mineral wool etc, as steam-barrier and thermal reflector (for roof or walls). |

F0,020-0,040/PET0,012-0,023 (Aluminum – polyether) |
|
Used for manufacture of shielded cables. Shielded conductor protects the inner conductor from environmental exposure and emission. The best shielding (up to 100%) is achieved by covering of the non-conductor insulating layer by metal foil. Foil is strengthened by polyether substrate. Even if the structural integrity of the foil is damaged, it doesn’t affect conductivity. Duplex-foil (metal + polyether substrate) is very durable. |
